Rapidly approaching their 100th anniversary, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington has lived by their tagline: Inspiring Hope. Building Futures. For the eighth year, I have been fortunate to help bring their services and stories to live in their Annual Report. This year’s report (titled Lighting the Path Towards A Brighter Future) highlights their work across Washington, D.C. and surrounding counties in Maryland, providing relief and resources to underserved communities.

“Each year, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington serves over 140,000 people with food, shelter, medical care, job training, and other essential services that lift up human dignity. Our generous benefactors, staff, and volunteers make this gospel mission of love and hope possible.”
— Cardinal Robert McElroy, The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington
