Whitman-Walker has been a mainstay for over fifty years, providing LGBTQ care and advocacy. This past summer, Red Clay Creative asked me to assist with logo design for a client who is very familiar to folks in the Washington, DC area.
Held for the past 37 years, The Walk to End HIV is Whitman-Walker Health’s signature fundraiser and community gathering, supporting WWH’s mission of providing dependable, high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health care to those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
This year’s logo has a vibrant palette and a shoe pattern that supports both the event logo as well as their tagline, “A 37-Year Journey, a 50-Year History.” The branding appeared on an event website and t-shirt, a 5×7 promotional card, among other places.
